Eco-Detectives on the Beach: The Great Microplastic Hunt!
Imagine a magnifying glass and turning them into a real-world scientist. That is exactly what we did for our latest Project-Based Learning (PBL) adventure focused on environmental issues!
Our students visited Dalyan Beach ,not just for fun, but for a mission: The Great Microplastic Hunt.
The goal of this trip was to turn lessons into an experience. Equipped with magnifying glasses, young detectives searched the sand for microplastics—tiny, broken-down pieces of plastic.By collecting real data, students learned how human waste directly impacts coastal ecosystems.
Saving Marine Life: Microplastics are a huge threat to ocean biodiversity because birds and fish often mistake them for food.
Plastic pollution; Our students realised how single-use plastics affect the planet.
This PBL experience teaches kids that they aren't too young to make a difference. They are aware of the problem and they are brainstorming real solutions for a cleaner tomorrow.
By looking through a magnifying glass today, our students are taking their first steps toward becoming the eco-friendly leaders our world needs!
